This document includes information associated with the data processing operations of Nordfilm Packaging Kft. (hereinafter: Data Controller) as the owner of the website under the www.nordfilm.hu domain name (hereinafter: Website) in connection with the Website and services associated with the Website. By first accessing the Website, a user (hereinafter: User or, if the context requires: you) agrees to all terms and conditions set out in this Privacy Statement (hereinafter: Statement). Therefore, please read through this Statement carefully before using the Website.

The objective of processing is to provide data storage necessary for the operation of the Website. The Data Controller reserves the right to engage additional processors in the future. The addition of any new processor will be announced in a modification of this Statement. Unless a regulation expressly provides otherwise, personal data that can be used to identify you will only be transferred to third parties with your express consent.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data

During an inquiry, you give your consent that the Data Controller may process your personal data in accordance with this Statement. The processing of your personal data is based on your voluntary consent given in the knowledge of this Statement. You may only disclose your own personal data on the Website. If you disclose somebody else’s personal data, you will be required to obtain his or her consent before disclosing the data.

Your rights

At your request, the Data Controller will inform you about your personal data it processes, the sources of such data, the purposes, legal basis and period of processing, the name and address of any processors and their activities associated with the processing, and, if your data is transferred, the legal basis of such transfer and the name of the transferee. You can request such information by writing to the info@nordfilm.hu e-mail address or the 3000 Hatvan, Bercsényi 49, Hungary postal address. When writing to us at either of the addresses, please make sure to confirm your identity and state your mailing address. The Data Controller will respond in writing, within 25 (twenty-five) days after receiving your request.

You are entitled to request the rectification of your personal data by writing to the info@nordfilm.hu e-mail address or the 3000 Hatvan, Bercsényi 49, Hungary postal address and stating the correct data. When writing to us at either of the addresses, please make sure to confirm your identity and state your mailing address. The Data Controller will immediately rectify your data and inform you about this in writing.

Additionally, you may request the erasure or the restriction of the processing of some or all of your personal data free of charge or without providing any reason, by writing to the info@nordfilm.hu e-mail address or the 3000 Hatvan, Bercsényi 49, Hungary postal address. Please make sure to confirm your identity and state your mailing address. The Data Controller will terminate the processing of your data as soon as it receives your request for erasure.

If the Data Controller does not comply with your request for rectification, erasure or the restriction of processing, it will inform you about the legal and/or other reasons for denying your request within 25 (twenty-five) days after receiving it. If your request is denied, the Data Controller will inform you about your options of seeking redress in court or filing a complaint with the National Data Protection and Freedom of Information Authority.

II. Information otherwise collected in connection with the use of the Website

a. What information do we collect in connection with the use of the Website?

If you do not expressly share personal information about yourself on the Website in accordance with Section I, the Data Controller will not collect or process any personal data about you in a way that would allow your identification. By visiting the Website and clicking on the “Elfogadom” (“Accept”) button, you give your consent that the Data Controller may record data and information specified in Section I and to place cookies on your computer as required for the recording of the data and information. Such data include information that is associated with the computer you use to access the Website, and that is generated while you are using the Website and is automatically recorded by the Data Controller’s system as a result of certain technical processes. Such automatically recorded data will be logged by the system when you access and leave the Website, without any specific declaration or action needed from you.

This information will not be linked to your personal data, i.e. you cannot be identified on the basis of such information. The information will only be accessible to the Data Controller and any data processors it engages. The information can be collected with various types of technology, such as cookies, web beacons and log files.

The relevant data include the following information:

Cookies: cookies are short text files that the Website sends to your hard drive or other storage device and that include information about you.
Log files: your internet browser automatically sends certain information to the Website, such as the IP address of your computer (e.g. 110.256.55.10), the operating system you use, the type of your browser, the domain from where you access the Website, and the pages you visit and the content you view on the Website.

Just as any other website operator, the Data Controller analyses these data so that it can identify which pages and sections of the Website are more popular than others. Also, just as other major website operators, the Data Controller uses the data to adjust the website experience to meet the needs of its users.

b. How do we use this information?

Information collected with the above technologies may not be used to identify you, and the Data Controller will not link such information to any other type of data that might be suitable for identification.

The primary purpose of collecting such data is to enable the Data Controller to operate the Website properly, which requires, in particular, the tracking of visitor data and the identification of malicious attempts to access Website. The Data Controller may also use the relevant data in accordance with its own priorities (e.g. identification of the most accessed content on the Website). Additionally, the Data Controller may use this information to analyse usage trends, to improve and develop the functions of the Website, and to obtain comprehensive traffic data about the use of the Website.

The Data Controller may also use the information to prepare and analyse statistics about how the Website is used, and to transfer such anonymous statistical data (e.g. number of visitors and registered users, most-viewed topics and content) to third parties or to publish such anonymous data.

Option to disable cookies

If you would not like the Data Controller to collect the above information about you in connection with your use of the Website, you can partially or fully disable cookies or otherwise modify cookie settings in your internet browser. However, in that case you will have to accept that content on the Website will not be displayed in accordance with your preferences, certain services will not be available or will not function as they would with the cookies enabled, and the Data Controller will not be able to provide the same user experience on the Website.

Third party cookies

The Website may contain information, particularly in the form of ads, that originates from third parties that are unrelated to the Data Controller. Such third parties may also place cookies and web beacons on your computer or may employ similar technologies to collect information in order to send targeted promotional messages in connection with their services. In such cases the relevant third party’s data protection and privacy policies will apply and the Data Controller will not be held liable for any related processing of personal data.

Data security

The Data Controller pledges that it will ensure the security of data and that it will implement appropriate technical and organisational measures and introduce procedural rules that guarantee the protection of the data it records, stores and processes and prevent the destruction and unauthorised use and modification of the data. It also pledges that it will instruct any third party to which it transfers data to meet all applicable data security requirements.

The Data Controller will ensure that no unauthorised person can access, publish, transfer, modify or erase the data it processes. The data will only be accessible for the Data Controller, its employees and any data processor it hires, and it will also ensure that such data processor will not transfer the data to unauthorised third parties.

The Data Controller will use all reasonable efforts to prevent the accidental corruption or destruction of the data. The Data Controller will enforce this obligation against its employees who participate in any data processing operations.

If you disclose your personal data on the Website, you acknowledge and accept that absolute protection of your data cannot be guaranteed on the internet, despite the fact that the Data Controller has state-of-the-art security technologies to prevent unauthorised access to the data. If unauthorised persons access or otherwise obtain personal data despite our efforts, the Data Controller will not be liable for such access or for any damage you may suffer as a result. Additionally, you can also disclose your personal data to third parties who may use the data for illegal or unauthorised purposes.

The Data Controller will not collect sensitive data (that is, data concerning racial origin, national or ethnic minority, political opinions or affiliation, religious or other beliefs, membership in trade unions and other similar organisations, medical conditions, addictions, sex life or criminal record) under any circumstances.

Remedies

The Data Controller will use its best efforts to process personal data in compliance with all applicable regulations, but if you believe that such regulations have been violated, please write to the info@nordfilm.hu e-mail address or the 3000 Hatvan, Bercsényi 49, Hungary postal address. If you believe that your rights associated with the protection of your personal data have been violated, you can seek redress
• before the National Data Protection and Freedom of Information Authority (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, address: 1125 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/C); or
• in court.

The National Media and Infocommunications Authority (Nemzeti Média- és Hírközlési Hatóság) has the authority to proceed in connection with electronically sent advertising, and the relevant regulations are included in Hungary’s Act CXII of 2011 on Privacy and the Freedom of Information and in Act CVIII of 2001 on Certain Issues of Services Associated with the Information Society.

Other provisions

This Privacy Statement is governed by Hungarian law, and in particular, by Act CXII of 2011 on Privacy and the Freedom of Information. The Data Controller reserves the right to modify this Privacy Statement unilaterally at any time, with prior notification of Users.
